My perfect getaway from the busy city life. As soon as I arrived at this eco lodge, I knew I should have booked more than two nights! The peaceful and nourishing vibe was exactly what I needed. Surrounded by the sounds of birds and chickens roaming around the garden, it truly felt like a little piece of paradise. The owners were extremely welcoming and made me feel at home. They even offered delicious fresh fruits in the morning. The proximity to a private beach area with clear turquoise water was a dream come true. The lack of running water didn't bother me, as the bucket showers were actually refreshing in the hot weather. The hostel was also very clean and had plenty of hammocks around to relax in. I highly recommend this eco lodge for a quiet getaway and to reconnect with nature.
The "mattress" in my room was uncomfortably hard, causing me to have intense hip and lower back pain. Additionally, the limited electricity meant that I couldn't charge all my devices, which was a bit inconvenient.

My recent stay at Ecohotel Arte Y Aventura was a refreshing escape from the crowded cities and beaches. The peaceful atmosphere and rustic facilities truly allowed me to relax and unwind. I loved being surrounded by nature and the eco-friendly approach of the hotel. The spacious dorms provided ample space, and I appreciated the abundance of hooks to hang my clothes. The proximity to the beach was a definite plus, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tours offered by the hostel. The vegan food options were a nice touch, and the meals were delicious. The hostel owners' dedication to nature conservation was commendable. The presence of adorable dogs and a cat added an extra touch of charm to the place. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to those looking for a quiet and eco-conscious getaway.
It would have been nice to have towels provided, as we had to use our quick towels for both the beach and showering. Additionally, the lack of larger fans in the rooms made the nights a bit uncomfortable.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from a beautiful beach. There are also mangroves nearby, providing a tranquil atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a quiet getaway, with their own beach area and deck to relax on.
The mattresses in some rooms are reported to be a bit old and soft, which may not be comfortable for everyone.

The hotel was in a beautiful location, surrounded by pristine beaches and crystal clear water. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing Christmas getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering a variety of activities to keep us entertained throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the enchanted lagoon walks and snorkeling trips. the room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable space to rest and unwind.
One of the main downsides of our stay was the lack of amenities. The hotel did not have running water or electricity, relying on generators for power.

The location of the hotel is great, with a private beach area and turquoise water just a short walk away. The hosts are welcoming and speak English, offering delicious fresh fruits in the morning. The lack of running water is not an issue due to the hot weather, and there are plenty of hammocks available. A volunteer at the hotel also takes guests to explore the town and lagoon at night.
One negative aspect is that the mattress provided was extremely hard, causing discomfort and back pain for some guests.

Carlos and his family were amazing hosts! The Eco Hostel was just that, super ecological and super quiet! We loved our stay. Very quiet and peaceful at night, perfect for relaxing under the stars. Carlos made an absolutely amazing breakfast and exceptional dinner for fair prices. We booked an extremely enjoyable trip through them as well to do canoe through the lagoons and finally see the sunset. Isla Grande is a beautiful eco island and it is extremely peaceful. If you like walking through picturesque island trails and relaxing on empty beaches with delicious fresh seafood, this place is for you.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
